Diwali brings lots of fun, enjoyments and especially brightness in our life, but sometimes this brightness will convert to darkness due to carefree playing with firecrackers and sparklers.

Every year average 10 to 15 % of age 5 to 20 years people’s burn injury happens with firecrackers, in adults age 25 to 40 years 5 % to 7 % burn case happens. Man and boys are common  victims, asthmatic person, small babies, pregnant woman, aged person these persons are more in risk of injuries and sound shock, excessive smoke can cause breathing problem and eye irritation. While in mood of celebration it is very natural to forget the safety and this carelessness may cause serious eye injuries or burn or it may leads to permanent vision loss.

Wear Eye Glass: Best to wear goggles or spectacle while playing with fireworks because accident can happens anytime.

Make Distance: Firecrackers contains explosive gun power it cause heat and explosion, best way to burst crackers maintain safe distance. Choose open area to burst may have less harmful effects of smokes to human body.

Wash Face and Hands: Diwali is special for making Rangoli with power colours, chemical may cause eye irritation, unpredictably crackers bust out as soon as possible wash face and eyes with normal water for 10minutes thoroughly. More cleanliness has reduces the risk of eye infection. If any particle stuck to eye do not rub and do not try to remove by yourself check by near hospital.

Waring for Contact Lens: Avoid contact lens while playing with fireworks, your eyes get irritate with heat, smoke, better to wear spectacle or goggles will protect from any particle get in touch with eyes.

Choose of Cloth: Loose cloths, synthetic fabrics are more prone to fire for risk of burning. Improper handling of crackers is a high risk, do not cover crackers with any pot, tin, glass.

Our modern life is full use of digital device, they are all around we can not start our day without using digital device like computer, laptop, smartphone, tab, but 70% of people do not know that long period use of electronic device may damage your eyes. Though we cannot live without these devices so we have to protect your precious treasure our eyes and day by day our use of screen will increase with technology. These devices contain more blue light which is harmful for eyes.

Which light is Harmful for Eyes:- 

Human eye can see visible white light that is made with 7 different light VIBGYOR e.g. violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, red. It exists between wavelength from 350mn to 750nm. Blue light has 400-430nm, it has short wavelength light is more strong energy and high damage property to our vision. High wavelength has less energy, low risk of damages.

The main source is sunlight, but when you are not in sun expose indoor source are- digital screen, computers, laptop, smartphone, CFL blub, LED light. Sufficient amount of Blue light is necessary for good health but more amount of blue light may cause damage your eyes like this:-

Rainy season is best pleasant relief from sunburn, heat, sandy summer but at the same time rain may cause eye infection, irritation on eye, so a little careful to your eye hygiene definitely help to control major eye issue. Many of us may have experience of several eye problems with rainy season.

Know Complication:- 

  1. A proper eye care need to protect from these problems like,Conjunctivitis, main symptoms are redness, swelling, itching, a bit watering.
  2. Stye, boil in upper or lower eyelid or lid margin.
  3. Dryness, people may face dry because of not wearing any eyewear or glass. Option is to use lubricating eye drops or consult with eye doctor, contact lens wearer having this symptom more often.
  4. Corneal ulcer, due to several time touching with dirty hand may cause dangerous painful infection in cornea, this may lead to corneal ulcer, better to wash eyes with fresh normal water and obvious consult with eye doctor.

Hygiene Maintain: Wash hands & face with cold, clean water regularly when you come from outside weather, do not hit water directly on eye, it may cause dryness, redness better to use artificial tear drops to make eyes cool.

Less Makeup & Cosmetics: Those who are having itching in eyes better not to use eye makeup, do not share makeup products with others and use best brand, also stick to one brand. Do not share handkerchief or towel may bacterial infection spread to others. Try to eat healthy food, do not self-medicate.
